I’m honored to be a featured artist in the Esper Petersen Reading Room Gallery in the Robert T. Wright Community Gallery of Art at the College of Lake County this month! My exhibition is called CELLULAR JOURNEY and showcases 14 mixed media “painted drawings” that explore the quiet, personal process of healing from pain, loss, or trauma. My cellular art is deeply personal yet it is resonant with universal emotional truths.

Very happy to share that two of my pieces "Leaf Glow: Duet" and "Leaf Glow: Triplet" have been selected for MIDWEST NATURE: ITS BEAUTY & ITS PERIL -- a new exhibiition sponsored by the Chicago Women's Caucus for Art. The exhibition will be presented at the Mayslake-Peabody Estate located at 1717 31st Street in Oak Brook IL. These pieces are presented in simple gold wood frames with hints of pink & red in the gold -- what I call "causal elegance." They are both from my "From the Girl Who Loves Leaves" series.

The Beloit Art Center celebrates its 25th Anniversary!

This group exhibition will feature works from artists who have shown their art at the Beloit Art Center over the last 25 years. I will be showing “Auric Vibration” in this wonderful show celebrating the arts!

So happy to be selected to show two pieces of art in this annual competition open to artists living in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. The Freeport Art Museum's annual Regional Juried Exhibition (RJE) mission is to offer established and emerging artists the opportunity to debut work created in the last two years.

Opening on Saturday, May 10, 2025, the show runs through July 19, 2025.

As FAM has gained a distinguished reputation for displaying a wide range of contemporary art, this exhibition has become a visitor's favorite. Each year, FAM invites a new juror to select approximately 50 artworks for inclusion, and to give awards for first, second, third place, and honorable mention. This year's juror is Rodrick Whetstone, Assistant Professor of Graphic Design teaching in the Department of Art and Design at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) in Edwardsville, Illinois.

I am pleased to be included in the Addison Center for the Arts new exhibition "Expressions: Art & Verse 2025" — its 5th collaboration between visual artists and the Illinois State Poetry Society! “Cellular Healing: Yellow Leaf” will be one of the works included in the show.

Participating poets will read poems inspired by the work of local artists.

The public is invited to attend the free art reception and poetry program on Saturday, March 29, 1-4 p.m. The show will be on display at the ACA Gallery from March 26-April 19.

One of my new Primordial Monoliths called “Heat Map” will be included in the Chicago Alliance of Visual Artists Annual Member Show to be held at the historic Bridgeport Art Center in the renowned 4th Floor Gallery. This is a big show and will feature approximately 100 pieces of wall art & sculptures created by CAVA artists.

“Love is a Golden Thread of Lightning” will be included in the Annual Members Exhibition at the Adler Art Center on view January 17-February 22.

The Adler Art Center maintains and interprets the historic home of architect David Adler, which is the base of its activities, and a visual image of the harmony between music, the arts, and daily life.

“Cell Block 9” will be on display in the much anticipated annual InView Member Exhibition at The Art Center of Highland Park which opens December 20 and runs through January 25.

A CWCA Juried Exhibition about CIRCLES.

I will have two pieces in this exciting show about the beauty, power, and timeless symbolism of the circle.

Two favorite pieces of mine are included in the Wisconsin Regional Art Program (WRAP) Regional Exhibition at the Beloit Art Center in Beloit WI -- “Cellular Landscape of an Ultramagnetic Love (Or, Love is a Golden Thread of Lightning)” (17x23 Mixed Media) and "The Presence of Absence." (20x20 Mixed Media).

WRAP provides statewide art workshops and exhibitions with the intent of encouraging creative growth for artists. Meritorious work is selected by a juror at the various regional exhibitions for inclusion in the annual state art exhibition. Artists from states that border WI are allowed to participate. I’ve never participated before and I am very excited to experience this for the first time in such a wonderful space as the Beloit Art Center.
